Blast Recording is the leading recording, mixing and production facility in the North East of England. Based in the Ouseburn Valley, the cultural hub of the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Blast Recording is home to two studios - Blast Studio and Mono Studio.

Established in 2006, by the team behind the hugely successful independent record label Demolition Records, Blast Studio has opened it’s doors to some of the music industry’s biggest artists and bands.

Blast Recording is also home to Mono Studio, the North’s boutique production and mixing suite. Part of the Mono Collective, Mono Studio is run by music producer Mick Ross (Mono Records, Soundtracks for a B-Movie, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Minotaurs).

Blast Recording was designed to the highest specification by world-renowned designers, Whitemark Ltd. (The Hit Factory - New York & Miami, Abbey Road - London, Real World Studios - Bath, Strongroom Studios - London). Our studios offer endless creative possibilities in a professional, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, working with our network of experienced industry engineers and producers.

With studio hardware from the leading names in the industry such as Solid State Logic, Crane Song, Brauner, DW Fearn, Chandler, Soundelux and Royer to name but a few and instrumentation matched in quality. Blast Recording can provide their clients with a comprehensive and professional service from beginning to end.
