As the Northern FA Cup heroes, the Blyth Spartans, run out on to the pitch against Premier League Blackburn Rovers, they'll be doing so to their new anthem written by none other than Newcastle's QUIREBOYS!!
The single, The Famous Blyth Spartans (We’re Going To Wembley), has been written and recorded at Blast and will be available to an unspecting public as the official FA Cup anthem of North East minnows, Blyth Spartans.
With all proceeds going to the Spartans’ nominated kids’ charity – Make A Wish Foundation – there’s really no excuse to shy away from the feelgood tune of 2009:
